Agreement

By accessing or signing in to Monarch Portal (the "Portal"), you agree to these Portal Terms and to our general Terms and conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Portal. Commissioned work and retainers may also be governed by a proposal, statement of work, or Stripe subscription terms. If there is a conflict, the signed or written project terms prevail for that project.

The Portal

The Portal is a client and staff workspace for retainer projects: tickets, sprints, chat, billing status, Discord-linked collaboration, and related tools. Features may change as we improve the product. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will remain available in the same form.

Accounts and Discord sign-in

Access is provided through Discord OAuth (and any other providers we enable). You must keep your Discord account secure and only use credentials you are authorised to use. You are responsible for activity under your Portal session. Optional two-factor authentication (TOTP) may be enabled on your account; when enabled, you must complete verification before using protected areas of the Portal.

Workspaces and roles

Workspace owners and admins control membership, invites, and many settings. You must only access workspaces you are invited to or authorised to manage. Staff may access workspaces as needed to deliver retainer services and operate the platform.

Billing and retainers

Subscription and payment processing for retainers is handled through Stripe and related billing flows. Fees, renewal, and cancellation follow your plan and the checkout or billing portal terms presented at purchase. Portal billing screens are informational; the Stripe customer portal and invoices are authoritative for payment status where they differ.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• Attempt unauthorised access to other workspaces, accounts, or Portal systems
• Abuse chat, tickets, uploads, or APIs (including malware, spam, or scraping at scale)
• Share session tokens, invite links, or credentials in a way that compromises security
• Use the Portal to harass others or to violate applicable law
• Interfere with Discord integrations, bots, or monitoring in a harmful way

Content you submit

You retain rights in content you upload or post (tickets, chat, attachments, and similar), subject to any project agreement. You grant Monarch a licence to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Portal and deliver services. Do not upload content you do not have rights to share.

Third-party services

The Portal relies on third parties such as Discord, Stripe, email providers, and hosting. Their terms and availability apply to those parts of the experience. See also our Portal Privacy notice.

Suspension

We may suspend or terminate Portal access for security reasons, non-payment, abuse, or breach of these terms or your project agreement.
